Gatwick Airport reshuffle

Operating out of Gatwick Airport North Terminal from 25th January 2017

Operating out of Gatwick Airport North Terminal from 25th January 2017

As you may well know there are 2 Terminals at Gatwick Airport; North Terminal and South Terminal.  It’s been in the pipeline for some time to reshuffle the Airlines operating out of each of these terminals.

Gatwick’s chief executive, Stewart Wingate said “What we’d like to do is have each of our major carriers in a single terminal. We looked at various scenarios and the best one is for British Airways to move hub, and EasyJet to be consolidated in North Terminal.”

Over recent years EasyJet have been using North Terminal and South Terminal at Gatwick Airport.  This has caused confusion to some passengers.

When will this happen?

The reshuffle is set for January 2017.   The big changes will take place over a 2 day period and Gatwick Airport are working hard to ensure that you experience no disruption.    Cumberland House B&B are also giving you the heads up on this information ahead of time and we will ensure that you are dropped off at the correct terminal.

Where will my plane leave from?

All EasyJet flights will be operating out of North Terminal as from the 24th January 2017.

British Airways will be operating out of South Terminal as from 25th January 2017.

Virgin will be operating out of North Terminal as from the 25th January 2017.

All other airlines will remain unchanged.
